Just before 3am box 41-20 was dispatched for a reported dwelling fire. The initial report was a vehicle on fire in a car port attached to a house. Chief 88 arrived on scene with fire showing and established command. Engine 88-1 arrived first, secured a water supply and stretched a hose line to the A/B corner of the building. Tower 88 arrived next, started the primary search and contained the fire on the interior with a water can until a hose line was advanced into the 1st floor. All searches were negative and the fire was contained to the Alpha and Bravo quadrants of the building.
