Monday Afternoon House Fire-At approximately 12:30PM, Units from Fort Washington, Horsham and Wissahickon were dispatched for a reported house fire in the 400 Block of Dogwood Drive in the Maple Glen section of the Township

Horsham Chief 15 arrived and reported smoke showing from the 2nd floor of a middle of the row townhouse, which brought EMS from Second Alarmers and additional fire units from Upper Moreland and North Penn. Chief 88 assumed command and Engine 88 arrived with their own hydrant and deployed a hose line to the 2nd floor, where they found fire in a front bedroom. Horsham Engine 15 deployed a back-up line, while Wissahickon Ladder 7 assisted with ventilation. The fire was quickly knocked down and placed under control and the incident was scaled back. There was no damage to the surrounding homes and the scene was cleared after approximately one hour. Initial Dispatch: E88, E88-1, E15, TW88, L7.
