The month started with Squad 88-1 being dispatched to assist on a large brush fire in Solebury, Bucks County. The Squad was later relocated to a cover assignment at Doylestown Fire Company, Station 79, Last week, Rescue 88 responded with a crew of 6 as RIT to a multi-alarm warehouse fire in Hatfield Twp. This past Friday, Engine 88 took in two large brush fires, assisting Barren Hill Fire Company. In addition to numerous calls in Upper Dublin, our members have also been participating in a Truck Company operations class. On Monday night, we did some hands on training at our burn building, which focused on conducting primary searches via both door entry and window based searches (VES). In the next class, we will increase the level of difficulty with the addition of smoke and obstacles.
